Eureka Seven: Astral Ocean Scanlation Project

pic name pic name pic name
I've posited this question in a couple of places, but I've recently got a hold of three volumes of Katou Yuuichi's Astral Ocean manga; I'm willing to scanlate the volumes from now until the end of the run if there's enough people willing to read it. I know that AO gets a lot of flak in and out of the fanbase, and scanlation/translation is far too much work if no one cares to read it, seeing as I'm only one person doing a group's job on a weekly basis. However, I'm more than happy to put in the effort if I know that there are fans who wish to read past the first five chapters. I'm not asking for huge numbers either; if I can get assurances that about twenty or thirty people would want to see this happen, I'm overjoyed to get it done.

If you are interested in this, please leave a comment or otherwise let me know, and I'll think about taking up the project after I'm done with NO Vol. 1.

    1. Well then, you'll be seeing chapter six in a week and a half; I've already decided to take on the project. =) Thank you so much for your concern, but it's perfectly fine; as long as there are people willing to read, I'm willing to work. ^^

  16. Thank you for all your hard work on these translations! You are an angel, for reals! I can't get enough of Eureka and with all the little differences between the series and the manga (AND the movie version, that I still have not come to terms with) it's been great having something more to discover and come back to! I hope you keep it up because considering the difficulties I had in Spanish class, I think it's pretty safe to say kanji is just WAY the eff out of my league. Mad props... if your ever in Austin, I'll buy ya a bubble tea for your troubles and we can shoot the shizz about how much of a dick Dewey is! ^_^

    1. No problem Rhiannon! I'm always happy to be of help! ^^ Aw not at all, I just want to share my love of this series with everyone! >.< I love the little differences myself; even just the way something is said can change a whole lot of the scene in question! Well, if you ever want to practice your Spanish, it's actually my first language. I know kanji is really what makes Japanese inaccessible to most, which is why I'm so eager to bring this to anyone willing to read it. Thanks a ton, I'll definitely take you up on that someday. -^^-
